6-year-old Girl Fighting Leukemia Becomes Hero for a Day

The Children's Wish Foundation and the city of Edmonton, Alberta, dedicated an entire day to six-year-old "Spider-Mable" whose battle against leukemia was the last thing on her mind as she was recruited by local government and authorities to work alongside Spider-Man to solve the "kidnapping" of Edmonton Oilers captain Andrew Ference.

Edmonton's premier Rachel Notley, as well as the Edmonton Police, mayor and other officials worked with Mable as she used her "Spider sense" to unravel the mystery. Along the way, Spider-Mable and Spider-Man rescued Black Cat, swung through the air on zipline webbing, and ultimately confronted villain Mysterio.
