Artists Design Ideal Footwear for Ninja Turtles

The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles don't wear any shoes and they probably don't need them, but if they did they might find this design appealing. (I chose not to watch the new TMNT movie, so I don't know if they wore shoes in that adaptation)

Artists Hussain Almossawi and Quintin Williams came up with this concept which features an ergonomic design with two toe compartments. The sneaker doesn't have any laces and comes with a white/black camouflage color scheme, with light green at the ankle and outsole.

The hexagonal vents are inspired by their shells, with small holes for ventilation which is inspired by turtles being able to absorb oxygen through their skin. It has the ribbon wrap for additional support, along with a zip-closure, and leather detailing along the ankle. Check out the images of the final design, along with sketches and white mock-up below.
