What if Chitty Chitty Bang Bang were a TRANSFORMER?

Move over Optimus Prime, Ryan Wells has taken the concept of Transformers back to the early 1900s. This fantasmagorical cosplay is based upon Ian Fleming's novel Chitty-Chitty-Bang-Bang: The Magical Car (yes, James Bond Ian Fleming). For those of you too young to get this reference, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang was popularized in 1968 as a musical featuring Dick Van Dyke as an eccentric inventor who restores a classic race car that employs features such as wings and propellers, inflatable flotation devices. Essentially, this is a car that transforms into a plane and a boat---sounds like Michael Bay material to us (but maybe a little better). Now that you get the reference, here's more pics of Ryan's detailed creation. Scroll to the bottom to see video of the functional lights, sound and engine steam! Much update, wow effects!
